    Thanks Christine.

That was a surprise to see entries for the 1960s and 70s!

Just clicked on the "info" tab next to the recent entries mentioned above and it said

Note that this person may be doing research relating to this entry. Please use the email address above if you wish to make contact and mention FreeBMD in your subject line.
I've never noticed that on any transcriber notes before. Is it common?

Where did you find 1960 and 1970 entries? They have only transcribed up to 1929!

PLEASE SCAN AT 300-600 DPI FOR RESTORATION PURPOSES. THANK YOU!

As an example, Wendy, if you do a search for Smith births between 1940 and 1960 you will see entries up to 1959.

Thanks Elaine. That's strange, I transcribe for them and I wasn't aware that those years had even been started yet. Doesn't say they are included in the coverage graphs though.

If you go on to the statistic pages you can see they have transcriptions up to 1983, albeit only a few.

They will be from somebody doing a one-name study or similar (in the case of a name like Smith, they were probably just picking out the entries for a particular area.)
