Computer help please

Hi
I seem to be having a big problem. I use Rootsmagic software and a couple of days ago i created a report to send to acontact in .pdf format. Today i have put a disc in the computer to look up some parish records and i cannot access anything. All the files on the CD are showing the rootsmagic icon and nothing can be opened. This is happening with all discs that i have even those i haven't used in ages. What on earth has happened and how do i rectify it.

Right click on the document you want to open and click on Open With..... then choose... the pdf reader, usually Acrobat, or the program you use to open them. Make sure you tick the box that says "always use this program"

You should find the icons have changed back.

Thankyou Wendy that has worked but i can't see a box to tick it just says open with and i clicked Adobe and it opened. Im a bit simple when it comes to computers sorry

When you click on choose program there is a box that you should click and this will reset the icons back to Adobe. If you don't do that you will have to open all pdf's the way you just have!
