  • Got my certs from NZ

They don't tell me anything more than I already knew (stuff submitted on the IGI and on various sites).

However it is good to have them as they refer to my 4x great grandfather and are his second (or maybe third) married in 1858 and then his death in 1865.

    :D Tom.

    Remembering: Cuthbert Gregory 1889 - 1916, George Arnold Connelly 1886 - 1917, Thomas Lowe Davenport 1890 - 1917, Roland Davenport Farmer 1885 - 1916, William Davenport Sheffield 1879 - 1915, Cuthbert Gregory 1918 - 1944

It's also nice to see how other countries register their BDM's.

I have a death certificate for Victoria, Australia in 1860 which lists his surviving children.

Haven't been so lucky with finding NZ ones though.
