Gobsmacked at the Cost of Ancestry at the mo!

I know this really isn't a Q&A but has anyone seen the cost of Ancestry UK at the mo? It's gone up to £95.40!

I let mine lapse as I was studying and it felt extravagant as I wasn't going to use it for a few months.

How are people finding Find My Past at the moment?

I've just logged out from Ancestry to check it - it says after the 14-day trial the UK annual membership is £83.40.

Would suggest that if you are thinking of subscribing you do so by telephone - and do what everyone else does and that is to negotiate on the current price - which you can say is 83.40. From what others have said you should be able to get it down to 65 pounds or thereabouts.

It is rather worrying if they are in the throes of increasing the subscription by that much.
