Sending zip files

I am having so much trouble sending these!

I use Outlook & I am using the zip compressor as I pull up my docs I right click to zip, then click add file to zip. That's ok, but then when I attach th efile & try to send it is still taking ages, sometimes it will send, sometimes it won't!

What am I doing wrong? Help please!

Hi John, the time difference is going to make this difficult, lol!

Er the photos are 1 MB but when I try to zip them they are the same size?

Hi Joan,

That's still quite a large file to send. It may possibly be what's causing the problem.
Zipping photos probably won't make too much difference to their size.

One way to reduce the size of photos is open them with MSPaint and then save them. That should reduce their size. I would save them back with a different name though so that you still have the originals.

Thanks John, I solved the problem with a little help from my friends, lol!

I have discovered that if I go into My documents and click on the picture I get a box come up with email on it & when you click on that you get a box asking how big you want the file to be, small, medium or large, so I did & attached it to the email which arrived safely!
