  • Waterfield - AGAIN!!!

I have been looking at my tree again and it seems that the 'children' of Richard and Hannah Waterfield are made up from children of other couples. I have looked at the 2 youngest 'children' Jonathan abt 1781 and Daniel abt 1778 as an example. I am however confused about why this has happened.

Remember I said I had extracted some when I came across them? Well those are the only two to those parents.

I will type the list up and send it.

Actually Pippa... you have just reminded me. When I was on gale I discovered that the Beaumont Arms in Coleorton had been taken over from my Thomas Stinson, by a Mr Waterfield. (Can't remember which from the top of my head).

However, this Mr Waterfield is the one I have in my tree.

I will try and find the details.

Thats interesting as the mother of the William Waterfield I have in my tree born 1803 is Ann Parker and I have William's father as William.

There is submitted info on the IGI that says he was christened 14 July 1802 in Coleorton, son of John and Jane.
