Help to Bottom out this problem, please.

I have the birth certificate for Tabitha Bottom, who was born 11th Nov 1837 at Ward Green, nr Darfield in Yorkshire. Her parents were Richard Bottom & Mary Hepworth. Richard was a Bleacher.
Mary Bottom died 14th Jun 1838, aged 37.

In 1841 the family was in Darfield parish as:

Piece 1323, Book 3, ED 4; Folio: 58; Page 23.

In 1851, still at Ward Green:

Piece 2333, Folio 204, Page 3.

In 1861:

RG9, Piece 3452, Folio 78, Page 5.

Now, I can't find the marriage of Richard Bottom to Mary Hepworth.

I have Richard Bottom marrying Ann Cooper in Oct 1812 in Worsbrough, and Richard Bottom marrying Mary Cooper in Darfield in 1825, and Richard Bottom marrying Frances Rooke (formerly Liversedge) in Manchester in 1847.
I believe that in each of these marriages, it is the same Richard.
Mary Hepworth was from Darfield, so I thought that someone had got confused and given Ann's surname by mistake, but I now know that one of the witnesses at this marriage was Benjamin Cooper.

Have I missed something?

Mary Hepworth could have been married before - maybe Hepworth was her first husband's name? She may have been born Mary Cooper.

Have you found a death for Mary Bottom presumed born Cooper before birth of Tabitha?
If not, I would think Mary Cooper is Mary Hepworth and previous marriage likely.

I've recently managed to tie down Mary Hepworth. She was baptised in Darfield in 1802 - parents Joshua & Mary, grandmother Tabitha. Sometimes it's good when the keep manes in the family.

Can't find a Cooper-Hepworth marriage though.

and to Mary Cooper on M017532

I can't see a likely Cooper-Hepworth marriage on either batch.
