  • William Clayton died 1846-1851 Lincs

Does anyone have the NBI for Lincolnshire for the above dates please?

I'm searching for my GGG GF.

William Clayton bc1811 in Wilsford. He was alive for 41 census. He was dead by 51. His last child, Thirza, was born c1847 (if she WAS his - I've been caught like that before lol).

On freeBMD there are these two likelies:

    Deaths Sep 1846 (>99%)
    Clayton William Sleaford 14 426

    Deaths Sep 1849 (>99%)
    Clayton William Sleaford 14 393

If either of these are mine he should be aged 35 or 38 respectively.

Sleaford covers Wilsford and William's widow was in the village for the 51, 61 and 71 censuses.

    Thanks in anticipation.

The 1848 death refers to a William Clayton aged 42, buried in St. Mary Wilsford.

There are two burials in 1846, one for William Clayton (infant) in Welbourn and the other for William Clayton aged 88 in Haxey.
Not sure if either of those would come under the Sleaford registration district.

Just noticed. Do I take it you meant 1849?
