          What do you know about children. I can see one on freeBMD in 1912 - were there any others - if so names and dates might help.

            yes fingers slip. the name I have is Mow, I have the 1912 one which gives the mothers name as Mow

              If it's not showing up on freeBMD then it is probably because it hasn't yet been transcribed. Your only option would then be to start working back from 1912 to see if there are any male Crook marriages, and looking to see if there is a corresponding Mow marriage! Very time consuming as you don't know either a first name or registration district.

              I believe that on Family Relatives marriages for that period have been indexed so it might be worthwhile buying a few credits to see if there is anything there.

              .. and of course the only way to confirm that you have the right couple is to buy the 1912 birth certificate!
