  • Mosfort Cheshire

    Hello

Can anybody see a William Mosfort with wife Pheobe/Phebe on any of the census?
I can see them on IGI but when i type it in on ancestry it seems to come up with anything but Mosfort.

    Many thanks

    Danny

born what sort of when, and where?

    Which census??

They married 1812 St Oswald, Chester, Cheshire, England

they could well be dead by 1841!

Might be her death but she was married in 1812 so would be a wee bit young by my calculations.

            Hi Danny,

The IGI entry for the marr is submitted but its the same entry on the cheshire marriage index I have. Only other info is that William is a labourer.

Also on the disc is a marr between Sarah Mosfort and Jonathan Colley also St Oswald 3/1/1803, Jonathan is a labourer. Could it be his sister?

Sarah is on the 1841, HO107; Piece 96; Book: 14; Civil Parish: Bunbury; County: Cheshire; Enumeration District: 15A; Folio: 6; Page: 17; Line: 22; GSU roll: 241236.

              Hi Denise

              My connection is Jonathan Colley.
I was researching Wiiliam as he is the only other Mosfort i can find in the chester area back then and a its the same church also it seems to near not to be connected.
William and Sarah must be brother and sister or atleast related.

              Thankyou for the occupations Denise
