Sending an FTM gedcom.

If i send a FamilyTreeMaker2006 GEDCOM to someone who may not have FTM would they still be able to view it?
If not what is the best way to send something to show this person with the same surname in their tree from the same area but we can not find the connection?

A Gedcom is the standard way to send info to another person. They can import the Gedcom into their own Family Tree program.

If they don't have a family tree program at all, then you need to send them a report, not a gedcom.
