  • Canadian emigration please?

Can anyone tell me please how I can find out details of someone emigrating to Canada and then coming back? I am interested to know whether he married before he went or while he was there and where the oldest child was born. This is what I know:-

Henry Harold Wright (aged 1 month on the 1901 census, registered Jan-March) is believed to have gone to Canada in July 1929 and returned around June/July 1939. On his return he had with him a wife and 2 children, one of them was about 10/11 years old. I can't find anywhere on Ancestry that gives details of Canadian emigration.

There only seems to be 1 possible going out in 1929 on find my past but I haven't got the necessary access or enough points to look. Is it likely to be worth buying units just to look at this?

    Thanks for any advice.

Oh thank you so much Elaine. I don't think that can be him as Stockton is up North isn't it? He lived in the South.
