    Can you look at Wills Free, or are they on Subs like everything else please.

    Generally no, they are not free to look at!

    If a will was proved in England/Wales after 1858 then it will cost £5 to obtain a copy.

    If the will was proved before this, then it depends which court the will was proved through as to where you would get it from and how much it would cost.

    Before I ramble on with loads of irrelevant twaddle, was there something in particular you were thinking of?

          Wills before 1858 -
          many are at The National Archives and you can download them for £3.50

            I love maiden aunts wills- they leave all sorts of nick-nacks to their nephews & nieces and you get all the nieces married names.
