Botton half of screen grey !!!

Does anybody know whats happened?? the bottom of my screen is grey and is covering the options lower down the page, I can scroll up to see them but would rather have my old screen back, this happened after I installed Zonealarm security suite which I have now uninstalled.

no Merry I cleaned it about 6 months ago LOL

well have uninstalled firefox and touch wood the problem of the grey page has gone !!!
