It has occurred to me that Errant Grandfather (Leonard BENNETT) spent quite a while in Canada, and could well have had a marriage there, too...
It just crossed my mind that he could have had a marriage in Canada before moving on into the USA. The trouble is I don't have any records to give me any clues (1921 census won't be published until ca 2013). I'd be interested to know if there are any plausible candidates.
If not marriage indexes, perhaps there are electoral roles? But the women probably wouldn't show up at that time, would they?
