AncestryView software not supported for Vista

I have a new Vista computer. I have a CD of Cambridge University alumni from Ancestry which worked well on my Windows 2000 computer. It does not work on Vista. Ancestry say that they DO NOT support Vista. This is terrible. Has anyone got AncestryView version 1 to run on Vista?

I think Ancestry should have helped you more .

I dont really understand what they are saying to you as obviously their site does support VISTA - I think they must just mean that particular cd isnt compatible. May be someone can tell you how to make it so???
