hi everyone, have hit a brickwall with my hubands.the information i have so far.

WILLIAM HUBAND BORN NAUNTON BEAUCHAMP 1802 WORC/WAR
MARRIED JANE PEARMAN 1846 ST MARTINS BIRMINGHAM I HAVE CERT. WILLIAMS FATHER,, ON THE CERT IS THOMAS HUBAND FARMER
I HAVE WILLIAM &JANE ON THE 1851 CENSUS HIMBLETON DOB IS 1806
I HAVE THEM ON THE 1861 CENSUS HIMBLETON DOB IS 1802
ON THE 1871 CENSUS HIMBLETON JANE IS DOWN AS A WIDOW
CANT FIND A DEATH FOR WILLIAM.I HAVE 2 DEATH CERTS BUT CANT BE SURE WHICH IS MY WILLIAM HUBAND.I HAVE 1866 & 1872.NO FAMILY MEMBERS WERE PRESENT AT THE DEATH ,WHICH I THINK IS STRANGE AS WILLIAM HAD SEVERAL CHILDREN AND THEY WERE STILL AT HOME IN THE 1871 CENSUS ALSO CANT FIND WILLIAM ON THE 1841 CENSUS NOR HIS FATHER THOMAS,I HAVE NT GOT A NAME FOR HIS MOTHER.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ACCESS TO PARISH RECORDS,WHO MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIND MORE INFORMATION FOR ME
    MANY THANKS
    BABS

With regard to the two death certs....one thing you can be certain of is that at least one of the death certs ISN'T the one you want. You might have some luck tracing the "other" man on the previous census.

Would you like to post up the details of the two death certs to see if anyone can help with that?

      Babs..................you have my sympathy...

Many people on here will remember my quest of finding my ggg grandfather, William Huband. I eventually found him through service records, but it took years.

One of the problems with the Huband family is that every generation has a William, a Thomas, and a John or James along with a couple of Samuels.

With the death cert, is there an occupation?
Have you found Thomas on any census?

I'll have another look on the Huband tree and be back soon.

On Family Search there is a "will" (not sure) for Thomas Huband 1827 Naunton Beaucham.

Maybe look for a will. I always find them better than any cert.

Sorry......didn't read your post properly....you've looked for census.

Were both the deaths you have in Droitwich district? I can only see one there and he's a little old, but I can't see another William Huband in that area who is older in 1861.

            Deaths Dec 1866
            HUBAND William 69 Droitwich 6c 215

Who was the informant for this one?

Charlotte Guise is listed in Himbleton district 1 page 16 and William Huband is on page 12 of the same district in 1861. Plus that one has the right occupation.

The other death is probably this man:

                RG9; Piece: 2106; Folio: 29; Page: 16

Living at Stoulton, Worc. He's 60 in 1861.

Plus the second death is after the 1871 census, by which time your Jane was a widow!

Try googling to see if there is an online parish clerk to cover the area you want. I found one for the bit of Warwickshire I wanted, who was very helpful.
