    Hi, I am trying to find out a little about Amy Rebecca Beeney, . She was born in c 1831 in Wandsworth. She married John Fuller in 1886 and then died in 1889.She had a child out of wedlock Rebecca in the Union Workhouse Battersea in 1886, her BC arrived to day. As for her, Amy's life before that I know very little, can you help please. She had a very sad life.I have her death certificate,

    Was John Fuller her first husband, do you know? She would have been about 55 when she married him. Not impossible, but just wondered.
    Do you have her marriage cert?

      Hi Libby. No ,on her death certificate in 1889 she was only 24 years and John Fuller was her only husband, and named on her death certificate ,. :o

        Your dates dont add up - you say she was born in 1831 and died in 1889 at 24 years old ... or am I reading it wrong!

            If she died in 1889, aged 24, then she would have been born c1865.
            Where did you get the date of 1861 from?

              Thomas 11 born Wandsworth
              Unity 15 born Wandsworth
              Walter 9 born Wandsworth

              RG10; Piece: 714; Folio: 19; Page: 31

              Address: Caravan in Smiths Yard, All Saints Wandsworth


              You really need her marriage certificate to confirm it is the right family.

                ICI records Born 11 Dec 1861 Christened 13 April 1862 farther Henry Beeney Mother Becky Beeney But I have witten down that she was a Rebecca Smith (?)

                    Was that extracted Sheila?

                    I may have found her brother Thomas in 1881. He's married to a Rebecca with a daughter, Amy R.

                                Libby Oh No, not an other Amy R, What do you mean by "Extracted '? I think that Elaine has the right family,If Amy was in a workhouse to have a child in 1886 a Caravan in Smith's Yard sounds right. But was she in the Workhouse on the 1881 census ????

                                    On the IGI Sheila, it says extracted or submitted. Where did you find the birth?
