    Hi Treesa

have you tried contacting the county records office?

    Surrey History Centre

they might be able to do a look-up for you. to improve your chances do you know where in Surrey?

Hi, it is for Ripley in Surrey. I have checked out the site and the prices are rather steep!

Do you have her birth certificate? they cost £7.00 (if ordering from the UK). It might be cheaper then a record office look-up or were you hoping to find something specific on the baptism record.

The Parish church in Ripley is St Marys.

Hi Vikki, I was hoping that the baptism would be helpful but think I will order the birth cert as it seems the best thing to do.

Thanks very much for your help.

Baptisms usually give you less info than birth certificates so I would say, start with the birth certificate.
