1841 Shropshire look up please

I'm looking for a John Adlington (Adlinton, Adderton, Adinton) born Kemberton abt 1825, nr. parish of Madeley, in Borough of Much Wenlock

He married Maria Northall in Q3 1849, and I have them on the 1851 and other following census.

Hi Pam,

I've looked at that listed below, strange thing is that both John & Williams' ages are out by quite a bit judging by the IGI info, on the 1851 and subsequent census John doesn't deviate much from being born in Kemberton in 1825, he could of been baptised at the age of 6 but the age on the 1841 census doesn't tie in.

I've looked at this a few times thinking could the ages of Jas & John been transposed, but if Jas is short for James then this idea is probably shot as there is a James married to an Emma 1851 on.

Completely stumped on this one.

I dont like the 1841 census at all. Ages nearly always out. no relationships info. Birth place iffy.

Ages for adults are rounded down to the nearest 5 years.

Ages for adults are rounded down to the nearest 5 years.

Though I've found some that weren't rounded.

I've found loads that weren't rounded and husband has two sets of Jewish families where they are all 20 years older than they are in 1851!

I've also come across numerous instances of occupation column being recorded as "Ind" for independent when I know full well that none of these people were any such thing.
