  • My Platt annoyance

    Hello

    The Platt's have done it again, they have succesfully shown up in two places at once.
    Now i know its the same guy as on both census he is with people called Beech and his occupation is the same, same year of birth and same place.
    Now the only thing that baffels me is that on the 1841 census he was a boatman which fits in with the rest of his family which were all Flatmen for decades and in the 1861 census he is on a boat with his son/grandson but is a tailor (Tajber which also confuses me)

    This is one census

    Class: RG9; Piece: 2600; Folio: 35; Page: 2;

    And this is the other

    Class: RG9; Piece: 2602; Folio: 75; Page: ; GSU roll: 542997

    Now the crazy thing is that on the same night of the same year this guys son was also on a barge and at home at the same time which a few of you will have seen my last post lol

    Any ideas of this madness would be greatly appreciated

    Danny

        After looking at all the census im convinced this is the same guy. Just the occupation that bothers me and i still cant find him on the 1851 census.
