  • Maternity hospital in Holborn

In the 1840's - 1860's was there a Maternity Hospital or a Lying in hospital in Holborn. I know there was one in York Road on the other side of the Thames

Was there something specific you want ed to know?

The records are at Kew. The registers cover 1749 to 1868.

The hospital was established in 1749 in Brown St. 100 years later it moved to Endell Street.
