  • Missing Platt

    Hello

I have a John platt which im able to find in all census except the 1851.
I can find his wife Sarah and his two sons Enoch and Adam in Barnton Cheshire but as he is a Flatman i assume he is on his barge somewhere.

Also i have him on the 1841 census but as it dosent show relationships im not sure what to make of this as they all look like they could be siblings but with no parents, could someone tell me what they think please?

Class: HO107; Piece 92; Book: 5; Civil Parish: Great Budworth; County: Cheshire; Enumeration District: 2; Folio: 6; Page: 6; Line: 23; GSU roll: 241233.

P.S John was born c1820 in Barnton, Cheshire

    Many thanks

    Danny

    Aren't the first two listed in 1841 aged 47 and 41 and then 20, 15, 9, 7, 4 and 8mths?

      Hey Merry

Now that ive looked at the image it does look like a four for both James and Mary.
Also John Platt who is down as 20, that looks like a four aswell, looks like ancestry made an error which would explain why James is a Boatman and John who looked to be older didnt have an occupation.

      Thankyou Merry
