Ann, the censuses on findmypast have address searches. The only one on ancestry with an address search is 1881, but you can "browse" the other censuses and pick a county, then a town, then go through looking at the description of each enumeration district to find which one includes the address you are looking for.
Also the "official" 1901 census site has an address search.

When trying to track an address in the census I often Google the name of street and year and sometimes the word census There's normally something out there to help. Fourth hit on this search. Wellington.Passage 1851 - Google Search
In this case a family tree mentioning a birth at the address in 1848. So I searched that name and found they they had moved (but still in the same area and only a couple of streets away). A quick flick through the folio and I found Wellington Passage.
