There are two sisters, Mary Dempsey born c1806 Cork, Ireland and Catherine Adams bc1817 Whitechapel, London plus Mary's daughters Bridget and Mary.

All four women seem to vanish into the ether, as many of my Irish in this area of London do. There are loads of possible deaths in North and East London for Mary Dempsey between 1861 and 1871 but I have just come across these deaths in Holborn (the relevant district) on FreeBMD -

1891 Bridget Dempsey aged 52
It's possible that these are mine. But if they ain't where are they in 1871 and 1881?
