    Does anyone know of a website i can visit to email an expert to see if they can shed some light on my mispelt ship?

    Have you tried all the Maritime links in The Wiki? Some of the General ones lead you to enormous collections of links.

        Have you searched The National Archives to see if there is anything you can download (for a fee?)
        Might be worth searching "William Broadfoot" to see what comes up.

          If you need to look something up, you can go to the Navbar at the top of this screen and click on The Classified Index - then there are two ways of finding things either by groups of pages or on the right handside you can see a contents list ...

          The Wiki Guide will take you to some pages on how to Navigate The Wiki and also How to Search the Wiki, but I haven't quite finished that one yet.

            I tried that but to no avail, you would think what with the family being very repected in the nautical industry there would be loads.

              danny...if the ship was sunk,you can google " ship wrecks" and a few sites come up with a very large list of ships...also,i think Lloyds have a list of the ships they have "paid out " on..good luck..allan;)
