  • 1851 census help please......

Can anyone work out what happened to Henrietta Sainsbury who appears on the 1841 census aged 5 in Westbury, Wiltshire?

HO107; Piece 1188; Book: 1; Civil Parish: Westbury; County: Wiltshire; Enumeration District: 2; Folio: 19; Page: 11; Line: 9

I don't know who her parents were either! lol (could be Robert and Charity, or might not be?!)

She has been a note on my tree for ten years..... :o

Couldnt see her in 1851 but could not find a death.

In 1851 Charity is a widow living with her son

There is a death for a Henrietta Sainsbury in 1859 in Marlborough, no age though.

So if thats her she couldnt have married in 1866 lol

            Hi Pam

I think the Marlborough death belongs to a lady who was living there in the previous census, as she doesn't seem to be on the next one and there's no alternative death for her.

There's no baptism in the PR's for Henrietta either, which is really what made me think she should be the child of Robert and Charity, as they only baptised their first-born.

              It's very frustrating!! lol
