  • Hatton's and odd christian name's

I decided to splurge out on sub to a***Y tonight and got on with my research.
Question, has anyone come across any unusual christian name's in their research?,so far i've found a Gipay H.V.F. Hatton who got married in 1935,and a Mehetabel Hatton, married 1949.
    Gipay??glad i'm called Alan.

Your Gipay says Gipsy!! The other name is a biblical one.

I bet Gipay is a mistranscription!

Mehatabel is quite common in my family. It is an Old Testament name.

My paternal grandfather was called Jeuel (also Biblical). He is the only Jeuel in the censuses and the only one in the marriage index on ancestry.

how many middle names is too many.

I found Glady's A.G.C.M.M.F Hatton married in Westminster 1954,my dad had three middle name's and i thought that was a lot!
