My Zonealarm keeps asking me will i allow access for the following....

Programme Name - Microsoft vm command line interpreter.

File Name - jview.exe

I have no idea what it is, can someone tell me is it safe, or do i leave well alone

It is related to Java, what were you doing when it popped up?

My computer crashed last night following a pop up for AOL, i use BT, then when i put it on this morning this came on and has been on several times since.

I would say block it for now.

Thankyou Dave, at least i know i am safe, i only use the comp for my research and play solitire, i am as thick as they come when it comes to computers, but i took your advice on protecting ourselves against nasties.
