  • Ancestry - how do I find a tree?

Can someone please remind me how I find another member's tree on Ancestry

I have her user name, but can't seem to find out how to view her tree again!

Is there a simpler way than trying to find it via the 'hints' on my tree?

    Thanks
    Alison

The only way I know is to click on family tree tab enter a name of rellie and then search and on the left will come up public, personal & one world, however, I do not have ancestry membership so there may well be another way

To forget your ancestors is to be a brook without a source, a tree without a root....

I thought you had to be invited to view it ???

Not sure if this is what you mean..

If you have already been invited to view the tree, it is listed on the page under the tab of 'My Ancestry'. There should be a list of your own tree's and the others that you have been given permission to view. Just click on the one you want.

Thanks - but the tree I want to view is already a public one (where I found my rellie) so although I can find it via our mutual ancestor on my tree, I was sure I could just search for the member + tree using their 'user name'.

Guess I'll just have to stop being so lazy!!
