Not sure if it is me or freeBMD - but it seems to be on a go slow at the moment.
The normal way to find a missing person is to use the info that you have, that is Sept 1862 Rothbury 10b 468 - and then just enter parts of it at a time and see what comes up, for example a query on a page or volume number.
So to start with I would normally enter the year, quarter and place name - without page and volume -and check through the listing. Then if that didn't show anything maybe enter the volume number instead of place name etc. etc.
Have done this and cannot find a Susan or anyone that looks as if she might be the 4th person! :o

this is the only image I have them on as on the 1861 Census Thomas is still with his parents and on the 1881 he is a widower with 3 children Edward 17, Helen 14, and Susan 11.
