  • Ann or Annie lost in 1891 .. can you see her?

I have Ann or Annie Birch born 1855 in Birmingham.

1890 she marries Walter Henry Leach in Kings Norton, Birmingham.

1901 census they are living in Radley, Berkshire RG13; Piece: 1132; Folio: 43; Page: 8
    (transcribed as SEACH)

1891 Walter is with his parents in Blewbury, Berkshire RG12; Piece: 984; Folio 82; Page 3
He is listed as married but no sign of Ann / Annie.

    Before her marriage Ann was a school mistress (1881 - RG11; Piece: 1288; Folio: 10; Page: 13)

Where the heck is she on 1891? I can't find her anywhere. Can anyone please?

I wondered if she might be visiting the school in Church Rd, Letcombe Regis, but there's no sign of the school

There is a bit of Church Road in Childrey .... ED 7 .... no school though

I was just looking at the school in 'the village' in Letcombe Regis, but she's not there.
                It's on RG12; Piece: 982; Folio 93; Page 17.

Sorry, Margaret - I have been searching for the past hour, but no joy. Good grief, she is one elusive lady, eh?

Perhaps she was with Walter and the enumerator missed her when filling in his forms.
