  • Help to read a Census name please

Can anybody interpret the daughter's name on the below census:

1891 census RG12; Piece: 3933; Folio 58; Page 31 Keyword Moxon. There is a daughter shown as Morrison and I can not make it out to be anything but that now! :( I've looked on the complete listings of births and the only ones that fit are Jane, Mariah, Robert or George!

He/she are not with their parents in 1901 but they could've been away etc.

Not desparately needed but just frustrating me!
    Bo

At present: Marshall, Smith, Harding, Whitford, Lane (in and around Winchcomb).

    Definitely Morrison on the image.

Off to look at the BMDs now.

How about Marian Moxon q2 1883 Sculcoates vol 9d page 218?
I can't see any other likely candidates in the right time-frame.
    (From Ancestry FreeBMD).

Ooh look Marian got married in 1905 to Harold Henry Empson or James Stuart Harford:

    Sculcoates q3 1905 vol 9d page 321.

I keep looking at it and I wonder if the enumerator wrote down Marianne and then could read his own scribble when he got back to the office to fill in the forms? That is all that I can think of, if it is not Morrison,

But no sign of her in 1901. Before I found the 1905 marriage I checked to see if she'd died.

Thank - you Uncle John, Lyn and Christine for your extra eyes on this one. I knew she couldn't really be Morrison - although it wasn't totally out of the realms of possibility! I'll have to see if I track Marion/Mariah (as I found Mariah 2Q 1883 Sculcoates 9d p214) down anywhere in the 1901 census.

If you feel like betting £7, the 1905 marriage could be revealing.
