Hotmail contacts problem

This is a bit weird ............. for some reason, all my contacts' email addys are going totally lower case when I put them in the "to" box at the top of the mail. Even if I correct them there, they are being sent lower case, which means any addy that has a capital letter in it is being returned as "undeliverable".

They are all correct (upper and lower case) on the Contacts List.

Any ideas?

Hi Terri,
I don't know much about email but was wondering if this will work, you might already have it set to this but ...anyway.

In Outlook Express go to TOOLS >OPTIONS >Then click on the SEND tab.

Select the "Reply to messages using the format in which they were sent",make sure theres a check/dot in the circle.

Also in the Mail Sending Format make sure HTML is checked.

If that doesn't work then i don't know what else to suggest.

I don't have that on Hotmail.
There is an Options thing, but there's nothing in there that helps.
I am totally stuck now!

Have you got "Caps Lock" on ?

In most cases all email addresses are in lower case. Sometimes a preceeding name maybe in Upper Case. For example:- BEV & KEV<bev.kev817@hotmail.com
