My Dad's eldest brother Jabez Gray was widowed before I was born. I only knew his wife was called "Gina" and she died 1954. Decided to track her down, but couldn't find a death for a Gina Gray. So I thought I'd check the marriage. Found uncle married 1948 in Hampstead (!) and checked for corresponding female - Minnie G. Phillips.
Yippee. Found death for a Minnie G.A. Gray in 1954 which checked out.
So off to find Minnie's birth.
Found this Minnie G A Phillips 1900 Jul-Aug-Sep Paddington which looked v. promising as I knew she was older than uncle. She also had a sister who was called Lulu and I found a birth in Paddington 1904 for a Louisa Phillips. So far, so good.
Off to 1901 census to find a one-year-old Minnie Phillips in Paddington.
But I found only fit is this: RG13; Piece: 3; Folio: 15; Page: 21
which gives Minnie's age as 2. If it was meant to be 2 months it would be wrong. What do you think? Is this her?
