    Looking for marriage or death of Gilbert LOUTH,born 1896 in Gravesend,Kent.Son of Robert Herbert & Ellen Jane LOUTH,nee GILBERT.

      No Libby...I dont have access to census. Tried looking for any variation of LOUTH on Free BMDs.

            Got a Gilbert South (image is Louth) mother Ellen, but father William. Mum and kids born Gravesend, dad born Westminster.

              They are with Ellen's dad William Grey in 1891.

                Ellen Jane,nee Gilbert was born 1861 in Gravesend,Kent. She married Robert Herbert Louth in Sept Quarter 1894 in Hendon,Middlesex. What were the names & ages of children to this Ellen & William? And where were they living?

                        Rachel,Is there any way to get furthur information about the Gilbert Louth that you found.I searched on England National Archives but couldnt find him on there.

                              This is wierd, isn't it??

                              Gilbert Louth. Only one birth reg, and that fits with the child listed as Gilbert South, apparently son of William and Ellen in Milton, Kent.

                              Meanwhile there's Robert Herbert Louth a married crew member on a ship and Ellen J South (actually Louth) also married and born Gravesend, no kids and living in Willesden Middlesex.

                              Do you have Gilbert's birth cert? maybe he was being looked after by extended family in 1901 and was put down as Son by mistake?

                                1881 has William Louth age 19 living accross the road from later (number 15)
                                He has a 12 year old brother Robert H Louth!!!!!!!!
