Ok, here is my first problem

Hannah Rhoda Arnold born 13 Jul 1840 Locks Fields, Newington, Surrey

She is living with her father and mother in 1841 at Nelson Place, Newington, Surrey (HO107; Piece 1064; Book: 12; Folio: 14; Page: 21)
she then vanishes until 1864 when she married Walter Hinson.

Her mother died around 1846, and her sister Mary Philis is found in 1851 living with John and Hannah Youngman (listed as Niece) (HO107; Piece: 1559; Folio: 128; Page: 26)

I would love to find Hannah in 1851 and 1861, I have been told that she was in lodgings with a Mrs Lemmon before she married Walter but I don't know how long for.

I would also like to find out who Mr & Mrs Youngman are. Are they related to the Arnold family or are the related to the mother family Mary Ann Rawlings (b. c1811)

              Thanks

Roger Arnold m Mary Ann Rawlings in 1834, St Mary Newington (IGI).

There's a William and Rebecca Rawlings nextdoor in 1841 who may well be Mary's relatives.

it's a pity no one in the Arnold side of things says they were born out of Surrey (like Norfolk!).

                              oooo, i've just noticed

Hannah Youngman was born in Wacton, Norfolk

I have Roger Arnold (Hannahs father) born in Wacton, Norfolk in 1851. He is living with his "wife" (they never actually married) Elizabeth

Maybe Hannah Youngman was born an Arnold!!!!

So we need John Youngman to marry Hannah Arnold?

Hmm......Hannah Youngman was b about 1804 at Wacton.

Roger Arnold had 1 son with his first wife - called George - Possibly after his father????

So Roger named his eldest daughter after his sister and mother....

Thanks for finding that Merry, let see if I can find Hannah Youngman on a later census with DOB as 1802

Roger can't seem to stick with one birth year, so maybe Hannah was the same

                                        Ok Hannah Youngman

1841 - 1806 - out of county (living in Surrey)
                                        1851 - 1804 - Wacton
                                        1861 - 1804 - Moulton
no sign of after 1861 census

Now we also seem to have the Hyde family related to the Youngmans - its going to get really confusing

in 1851 there is a William Hyde (Nephew) b.1836 St Olave

in 1861 there is a Euphenia Hyde (Neice) b.1840 St Olave and Hannah Hyde (Neice) b.1844 St Olave

My brain is telling me I have found an Elizabeth Hyde living with someone in this family, but I can't track it down, and can't find my notes
