  • Are they your relatives too?

I'm looking for anyone who has connections to William Ellis and Anna, (aka Annie) Slade.

William Ellis was described as a 'Horse Collar Maker' on their marriage certificate in Bristol in 1891 when he married my Grandfather's sister in the RC Church of St Mary's on the Quay in Bristol. His brother Edwin was a witness and his father Edwin Henry Ellis (deceased) was also a Horse Collar Maker.

1901 Census finds William & Annie Ellis living at 202 New North Road Islington, London with 3 children, Annie c.1894 Bristol, Agnes c.1898 Bristol, Alice c.1899 Reading, and Gertrude c.1901 Islington. Williams occupation is still 'Horse Collar Maker'

Were there any more children? Where did the family go? If any one can help solve this mystery I would be pleased to hear from you. I have loads of info and certificates to share with anyone who is related to this family.

    Regards...Teresa
