    Would I be able to get a copy of an inquest from 1910 do you think,do they let you have one ?

    Highly unlikely they are even still available.

    Try the local newspaper archives at the appropriate library or county record office.
    These things were usually reported.

    If you can't go yourself, try ringing or emailing the place. They don't usually charge a lot for these things and its cheaper than travel costs.

      You would need to contact the relevant coroner's office - no harm in asking, and they will know whether they still have the records or if they have been passed on to an archive.

      But the local newspapers will undoubtedly have reported it. Margaret is right, a photocopy is cheap and easily obtainable, you should have the date of the inquest on the death cert which would make it relatively simple for the library to find the right issue.
