    I'm not sure whether this is new, but I'd never seen it before - basic search is free, there is a fee for a copy of a document

      No I haven't, Jan - I've no relatives from Herts so far as I know- in fact so I hardly seem to have any relatives from anywhere!:(

        Hi Joan

        It's the area hubbies dad's father belonged. I have enough scandal and info about him at the moment. Need to find hubbies mum's dad first as my tree is so lop sided it's in danger of falling over.

        Hope you find some relatives soon.

          Thanks. I'd seen they were heading that way, but hadn't actually seen that they'd got it up and running.
