I'm utterley amazed and thrilled!!

I have been researching my paternal gt grandfather for over 2years without success and then last week I received a breakthrough on a birth cert I received.
Now, thanks to Elaine who kindly sent a message on ancestry for me, I not only had a HUGE family tree sent to me but photos of some of my gt grandfathers siblings
It's wonderful as our family has no photos at all.

Congratulations on your success, Jean. It's also so nice to get the photographs. I was always told there were none of my paternal great grandfather but last year, a distant relative sent a scan of him and his family. It was especially wonderful for my dad, who's almost 90, as his grandfather had died before he was born and he'd never seen a picture of his grandparents before.
