    Thanks for pointing this out, Val - I hadn't noticed it either!

    (Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to get any further with my ancestor Peter Murphy, born Armagh circa 1831, which is all I know!) Not the best name to research ......

      it does say new for St patricks day so must be fairly new then , unless I missed it last year LOL

        There is another thread about it, but it doesn't look as though many people have seen it, so another one won't hurt. The indexes have only been online for a few days. The Tithe Applotment records are only for Northern Ireland so far.
