  • A Question from a Dinosaur.

Can anyone answer this one for me please?

Say I had a Website. Where would it actually be? I assume it would not be held on my Computer, but rather by the Server. Doesn't this make all Websites vulnerable if they are not in the keeping of the Webmaster?

Trying to learn something about Computing, no particular reason, just curious.

Yes, I believe you're right, but if you wanted to keep it as secure as possible then your best bet would be to buy your own server, I suppose.

Our server is in Seattle, USA but Dave has full control over it.

With a shared server, you have control over your web space, with a private server (like ours) you have control over everything.
