Possibly mistranscribed as Wigger in 1881: RG11; Piece: 2832; Folio: 129; Page: 14; though image looks like Digger.

Have you considered this one in 1871
      RG10; Piece: 2667; Folio: 5; Page: 4
      - age a bit out.

Could be the same family as this in 1851
      HO107; Piece: 1972; Folio: 284; Page: 8

Update - forget that - is probably the same John Wiggal as
      1861 census - RG9; Piece: 1799; Folio: 33; Page: 3; - occupation plumber

Hi dont know what happened to him after 1861 at all, he is a brother to my rellie. Might have to look at that death thanks Elaine. There are a lot of Wiggall families in Glos nearly are related to the Cranham lot except for mine

The on in 1881 also looks a possibilty. I did wonder if the other possibilty was that he emigrated, as some Wiggall families did.

Have you checked Welsh census? I ask because at least 5 of my Gloucestershire rellies upped sticks and decamped to Glamorgan to work in mines.
