        I don't know, but will be very surprised if they actually exist and if they do, whether you will be allowed to see them - I bet they are covered by a 100 closure rule.

        Petty court records such as these are normally destroyed after 20 years.But I will be very happy to be proved wrong!

          Thats strange i was under the impression that there was a thirty year rule, basically my OH was concived by another man that was not her husband, the outcome was a divorce and maintenance was paid for her up to her 16 birthday, we are basically trying to find information on the biological father, as the only information we have is a name, and it is a common name.

            Oh, it may well only be a 30 year rule then. But as the documents for maintenance would be routinely destroyed after 20 years, it's all a bit academic.

            However - ALWAYS worth a try. They may not have got round to throwing these papers away yet!
