Can you help my cousin?

I said I'd look up my (distant) cousins wife's family on Ancestry for him as he doesn't have a sub. However I can't find them.

Can someone please help?

The details are:

Charles Insole Brittan was born 1851 Apr-Jun Quarter in Liverpool District Vol 20 Page 336 (county Lancashire)

Charles Insole Brittan married in 1881 Oct-Dec Quarter in West Derby District Vol 8b Page 630. (county Lancashire)
From Freebmd a possible wife is Jeannie Frindel Dixon

My cousin said her name was Jane Grindel Dixon.

Charles has a son Herbert Thomas in Sep 1882 born Liverpool Cheshire Lancashire. I believe he has the birth certificate.

I think I may have found Charles before he married in the 1881 census:
RG11/3712 Folio 17 Page 27. But of course he is a boarder.
