  • Ats,1943.

    I believe this was taken in 1943 at Droitwich,it shows my aunt dorothy at the back,far left,with the rest of her ATS unit.

      My mum was in the ATS, but just after the war...

        I think she was a cook,i've got her ATS record,and a couple of others there look like they worked in the canteen.

        Bit sad really,she passed away from tuberculosis about a year after this was taken.She's buried in one of the war graves at Illogan cemetery,Illogan was were the family originally came from.

        If you recognize a family member,let me know.

              I have posted these photo's on FTF somewhere else but as you are talking ATS you might like this photo with names on reverse. They are photographed with my Dad's unit in December 1944.
