Can anyone tell me please what year they started putting date of birth and not just age on death certificates?

The first quarter with birth dates in the index was Apr-May-Jun 1969.

I have one from 1841 which gives the age at death down to the age and number of months, weeks and days
doesn't give the actual birthdate though so it took a lot of finger counting
