Do check the image before sending for a certificate, or confirming your findings. I have just found the death for my Agnes transcribed as Linton Essex when it is actually Luton Beds !!

This is the second time this week I have had to trawl through several years looking for someone as the district was mis transcribed.

Alway double check everything anyway, it saves a lot of time and effort in the long run.

It's even wise to go back and check your own transcription, if you are in the process of ordering - especially if it's not your original record. I managed to get a wrong Q for one of my applications - and it was down to me! :o
