  • James Thompson 1806

Help!!!!!! I found James on the 1841 in Kingston, Surrey, with his family. What do you think is the 6 yr old daughter's name please? I have been trying to find them in the 1851, but without success, please can any eagle eyed person find them? I have them on all other census', but this girl doesn't appear again, cos she probably married. I would be very grateful.

    thanx sunny

    Confused.

I have James Thompson b 1806 in Kingston Surrey. But he has a 6 year old son, transcribed as Congreve, which is what the image look like.

I seem to recall a query about Congreve before? Off to check 1851.

Congreve and wife Emma in 1861 in Esher, so he didn't go far. Guess he is still somewhere in Kingston or environs in 1851, but mistranscribed.

Blow, Elaine's beaten me to it. 1871 he is in Shere but states birthplace as City!

The surname is a pain, Thompson could easily be Tomson, Thomson, Tompson etc. But a trawl for Con* born 1836 +/- 2 years in Surrey has produced nothing for 1851, sorry.

                              Check on Ancestry for trees
                              I searched using
Congr*ve Thom*son (so as to pick up any variety in spelling)

There is 1 private tree, 2 public trees and 1 Ancestry World Tree.
